Seven individuals have been taken into custody following a serious incident in which a man was discovered with significant injuries on a balcony in Port Melbourne.
Emergency services responded to reports of a violent assault on Dow Street around 4:55 am. Upon arrival, they found a 33-year-old man on the balcony of a unit, suffering from substantial injuries to his upper body. He was promptly transported to hospital and is currently reported to be in a stable condition.
Police subsequently arrested seven people at a nearby property and confiscated a firearm along with other weapons. The arrested individuals are now undergoing questioning regarding the incident. Preliminary investigations suggest that the injured man and those arrested are acquaintances.
