Seven individuals have been arrested following a violent incident involving a stabbing in western Sydney. The police responded to reports of a brawl on Taminga Road in Green Valley around 4:15 am. Upon arrival, officers separated the involved parties and discovered a 29-year-old man wearing a balaclava who had sustained a stab wound to his back.
First responders treated the injured man at the scene before transporting him to hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition under police supervision. Among those arrested were four women, aged 19, 32, 33, and 59, and two men, aged 21 and 26.
Authorities believe the confrontation originated when the group pursued two men, also clad in balaclavas, in relation to a vehicle allegedly stolen from Mount Pritchard earlier in the week. Reports indicated that one of the suspects escaped prior to police arrival.
Investigators are appealing for any witnesses or individuals with information regarding the incident to reach out to Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000 or via their online platform.
