A woman has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged stabbing incident involving a 16-year-old boy during a house party in Sydney’s eastern suburbs last month. The police responded to reports of the assault at a residence on Carnegie Court in Chifley at around 8:20 PM on July 5. Upon their arrival, officers learned that the teenager had sustained multiple stab wounds.
Following the altercation, paramedics treated the boy on-site before transferring him to the hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition. After conducting an investigation, law enforcement officials apprehended an 18-year-old woman at a home on Maddison Circuit in St Clair at approximately 9:15 AM recently.
The woman has been taken to St Marys Police Station and has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm as an accessory after the fact, along with concealing a serious indictable offence committed by another individual. She is currently in custody and is scheduled to appear in Penrith Local Court on Wednesday.
In a related matter, it has been noted that another teenage boy has already been charged concerning the alleged attack and is awaiting further court proceedings.
