Search efforts have intensified for 68-year-old Meilee Chen, who has been missing for three weeks since her last sighting in Birmingham Gardens, Newcastle, on April 24, 2025. The police, alongside her family, are increasingly worried about her wellbeing due to existing medical conditions that necessitate regular medication.

Described as of Asian descent, Meilee is approximately 150cm tall, has a slim build, and sports black hair. She often frequents the Martins Creek and Birmingham Gardens regions. In a renewed effort to locate her, the police commenced a search of bushland in the area yesterday afternoon, appealing to the public for any information that could aid in finding her.

Investigators have also released images from confirmed sightings of Meilee at the Martins Creek and Warabrook railway stations on April 15, hoping to piece together her movements leading up to her disappearance. The police continue to urge anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts to come forward.
