British police are seeking assistance in their investigation into the shocking torture and deaths of two kittens, releasing CCTV images of two teenagers they wish to interview. This appeal follows a report from a concerned citizen who claimed to have witnessed the gruesome act in north-west London earlier this month.
The video footage captured a boy and a girl strolling along a tree-lined street in the Ruislip suburb, before abruptly running back in the opposite direction while carrying a bag thought to contain the kittens.
Although the Metropolitan Police have launched an inquiry into the case, no arrests have been made as of yet. Sergeant Babs Rock acknowledged the unsettling nature of the incident, which has sparked significant concern among the local community.
The police are particularly interested in identifying a young male, approximately 1.6 metres tall with short dark hair, who was seen wearing a dark long-sleeve jacket and blue jeans. He was also spotted carrying a black duffel bag, which is presumed to have held the kittens.
Additionally, authorities would like to speak with his female companion, also around 1.6 metres tall and described as having long red hair. She was last seen dressed in a white top and black shorts, carrying a purple jumper, which she eventually donned during the incident.
The police urge anyone with further information to come forward to assist in their investigation.
