Disturbing Case Surrounds Former Reality TV Star

Tamika Chesser, 34, is currently detained in a mental health facility in Adelaide following a fire that erupted in the yard of her residence on Flinders Highway, Port Lincoln, on June 19. The former contestant of Beauty and the Geek is suspected of having dismembered her partner, Julian Story, leaving his body decapitated prior to the incident.

Authorities have been actively searching for Story’s head, using a multi-agency team to scour the areas surrounding Port Lincoln. Major Crime Investigation Branch Detective Superintendent Darren Fielke recently announced that new evidence and specialised equipment had led to the identification of additional sites for investigation in the vicinity. These renewed searches aim to locate Story’s remains, providing closure for his family.

Since the tragic event, police have reviewed extensive CCTV footage, generating several investigatory leads. The previously identified sites will continue to be examined in the days ahead, in hopes of finding the missing parts of Story’s remains.

Late last month, police released footage they believe shows Chesser shortly before the alleged murder. In the video, a woman resembling Chesser is seen walking her dog. Chesser’s sister expressed concern about her sister’s mental state, noting that Tamika had been discharged from a mental health facility just weeks before the incident, despite their family’s worries.

She remarked, “It’s my sister, but that’s not who she is or the Tamika we know.” This unsettling case has drawn significant media attention as investigations continue.
