Sean “Diddy” Combs has been found guilty of a prostitution-related offence, although he was acquitted of charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering, which could have resulted in a life sentence for the renowned hip-hop figure. This mixed verdict was delivered on Wednesday morning (just before 12:30am Thursday AEST) following three days of jury deliberations.

The conviction carries the potential for a sentence of up to ten years in prison, which could have significant ramifications for Combs’ career as a successful music producer, fashion mogul, brand ambassador, and reality television personality.
