A bus crashed into a house in Guildford, a suburb in western Sydney, around 10am. The vehicle collided with the property on Guildford Road, causing significant damage—walls were destroyed, and part of the roof collapsed.
Photographs from the scene reveal the extent of the destruction, with the bus suffering a shattered windscreen and front-end damage. Thankfully, the occupants of the home were unharmed but had to evacuate due to a gas leak triggered by the accident.
The 60-year-old bus driver underwent a breath test, which returned negative results, according to New South Wales Police. In response to the incident, Guildford Road has been closed near Vulcan Street, and authorities are advising motorists to steer clear of the area while investigations are ongoing.
