A 32-year-old man from Queensland is set to appear in court after being charged for allegedly filming individuals inside their homes without consent. This investigation commenced following a search warrant executed on February 10 at a residence in Maroochydore, where police reportedly discovered materials related to child exploitation.

The authorities assert that the man secretly recorded approximately 40 individuals from outside their homes using his mobile phone. These incidents are believed to have taken place between late 2021 and February of this year. So far, police have identified 23 victims from the footage, including four children, all residing in Maroochydore.

The man faces a total of 36 charges, which encompass 29 counts related to privacy violations, five counts involving inappropriate conduct with children under 16, one count concerning inappropriate conduct with a child under 12, and one count of stalking. He was denied bail during his arrest and is scheduled to appear in court today.

Law enforcement also indicated that around 17 additional individuals remain unidentified in the recordings, and they are actively working to locate them. Anyone with information related to this case is encouraged to reach out to Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000 or via their online portal.
