Coles Recalls Chicken and Salad Sandwich Due to Allergy Concerns

Coles supermarkets across Victoria have announced a recall of the Coles Kitchen Chicken and Salad Sandwich (194g) due to potential allergy risks. The product was sold in their regular, local, and online stores between February 27 and 28.

Those with a milk allergy or intolerance are particularly at risk, as the sandwich contains an undeclared allergen—milk—which could trigger adverse reactions in sensitive consumers. The use-by date for the affected sandwiches is March 2.

Affected stores include locations in South Melbourne, Glenferrie, Camberwell, Balwyn North, Fitzroy, Brighton, St Kilda, Toorak Village, Normanby Road, and Surrey Hills. Customers are encouraged to return the sandwich to any Coles supermarket or Coles Local store for a full refund. For online purchases, refunds or credits can be obtained by contacting Coles Online Customer Care at 1800 455 400.

Coles has expressed apologies for any inconvenience caused and urged anyone concerned about their health to seek medical advice.
