A high-end boutique in Armadale, Melbourne, has been targeted by thieves who made off with an estimated $400,000 worth of designer women’s fashion. The incident occurred early this morning at approximately 4:45 am when a group of three individuals smashed the store’s front windows to gain entry.

CCTV footage captured dramatic scenes of one thief using a weapon resembling a pickaxe to break into a jewellery cabinet while the others rummaged through clothing racks. The thieves fled the scene in a silver vehicle, heading east along High Street.

This burglary marks the second incident at the boutique this year, following a prior theft of jewellery last month. As the boutique continues to assess the total value of stolen merchandise, they expressed hope to reopen for business as soon as tomorrow.

Authorities believe that the stolen luxury items may be sold on the black market. They are urging anyone with information, CCTV footage, or dashcam recordings of the incident to reach out to Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000, or to report information confidentially online.
