A tragic incident occurred on April 14 in Ambarvale, south-west Sydney, where 65-year-old Kim Duncan sustained a gunshot to her leg inside her home on Dickens Road around 11pm. Reports suggest that the occupants of a black sedan discharged nine shots into the dwelling before fleeing the scene.
At the time of the shooting, Duncan was in her front lounge room when she was struck by a bullet. Paramedics attempted to revive her for about an hour; however, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police have released CCTV footage that appears to show three men in the vicinity when the incident took place. The first suspect is described as a Caucasian man, approximately 180cm tall, with a slim physique and believed to be in his 30s. A second individual is characterised as being of Middle Eastern descent, around 185cm tall, athletic, and also in his 30s. The third man is described as a Pacific Islander, about 180cm tall, with a larger build and in his 20s.
Alongside these suspects, two vehicles—a white SUV and a blue sedan—were seen departing the area shortly after the incident. Police are appealing for anyone who may have information regarding the identities of the men or vehicles, including any dashcam or CCTV footage, to come forward and share with CrimeStoppers.
