Authorities in Melbourne are on the hunt for a man in connection with two burglaries at a mosque in Meadow Heights this month. The first incident occurred around 2am on Wednesday, September 10, when the suspect illegally entered the mosque located on Hudson Circuit. He managed to loot approximately $20,000 in cash by breaking open a donation box and a safe within the premises.

In a separate event on Thursday, September 25, at about 1.20am, the same man attempted another break-in at the mosque but left without taking anything. During both incidents, he concealed his face and dressed predominantly in dark attire, including a black Nike fleece hoodie and tracksuit pants. Notably, in the first burglary, he was seen wearing Dolce and Gabbana shoes, while in the latter attempt, he sported a pair of purple and black Yeezy shoes.

The police are urging anyone with information regarding these offences to come forward. Tips can be reported to Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000 or submitted online for further assistance in apprehending the suspect.
