Police are currently investigating the stabbing death of a man in the Far West region of New South Wales. Emergency services discovered the victim, who is thought to be in his forties, at a residence in Broken Hill late last night, around 11:50 PM, following concerns raised about his welfare.
The man had sustained serious stab wounds to his neck. Despite attempts by paramedics to revive him at the scene, he was unfortunately pronounced dead. Identification of the victim has yet to take place.
Authorities have established a crime scene and an investigation has been initiated. Police are actively pursuing inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident, with further updates expected as the situation develops.
