Police responded to reports of a brawl near Society Avenue in Lyndhurst at approximately 8.30pm yesterday evening. Upon their arrival, officers discovered a man suffering from serious stab wounds. Unfortunately, he was later pronounced dead after being transported to hospital.
Authorities have confirmed that individuals believed to be connected to the incident fled the scene prior to police arrival. The deceased man has yet to be officially identified by law enforcement.
Witnesses to the altercation are strongly encouraged to come forward with any information that may assist in the ongoing investigation.
