Police are requesting dashcam footage following a crash and suspected assault that occurred in Sylvania, Sydney, early this morning. Officers responded to a call on the Princes Highway at 1.25am, where they discovered a grey 2015 Volkswagen Amarok ute parked on Venetia Street, loaded with a damaged trail bike. Both the ute and the trail bike sustained significant damage.

Shortly after the incident, a 17-year-old boy reported to St George Hospital with serious injuries. Meanwhile, four individuals from the ute – consisting of three men aged 18 and another 17-year-old boy – have been taken to Sutherland Police Station where they are currently being held for questioning. As of now, no charges have been filed.

Authorities are probing reports that the boy may have been assaulted following the crash. They are particularly keen on collecting dashcam footage related to the incident, which involved the Volkswagen Amarok, a white Toyota Hilux ute, and the trail bike.
