Police investigations have revealed that the alleged assailants of Bill Frangos returned to his residence in a grey Holden Commodore shortly before setting the house ablaze. CCTV footage caught the vehicle parked near Frangos’ home at approximately 3.30am on November 7.

A man, identifiable by the backpack he carried, was seen approaching the house shortly before the fire broke out and later departing towards the same car. Previous footage from the night of Frango’s death also depicted a red Ford Falcon ute leaving the vicinity, which has since been seized by authorities. Recent video evidence has captured two individuals running towards this ute just before it exited the scene.

Detectives believe that the two suspects, who appear to be of African descent, had prior connection with Frangos, suggesting that his murder was not random. Detective Superintendent Darren Fielke stated the investigation is progressing swiftly, yet they are keen to gather more public information to piece together the full events of that night.

Current updates indicate that the investigation is nearing a resolution, with law enforcement asserting that efforts to apprehend those responsible for Frangos’ murder are intensifying. Authorities urge anyone with relevant information to come forward, emphasising the importance of community cooperation in solving the case.
