Recently, new photographs of former Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison were found in an old family photo album at a charity shop in Rockdale, Sydney. Charlie Foo discovered the album at the Salvation Army on West Botany Street and shared her excitement on TikTok, noting the unexpected find. The images feature a younger Morrison during a trip to Port Douglas for the Tourism Task Force Directors Meeting.
Prior to his political career, Morrison held various roles in the tourism industry, including director of New Zealand’s Office of Tourism and Sport and managing director of Tourism Australia. The album also includes photos from a trip he took with his wife Jenny to London and Dublin between 1996 and 1997. One page reveals a particularly amusing incident where Morrison left Jenny, who was unwell on her birthday, to explore Dublin alone.
Morrison served as Australia’s 30th prime minister from 2018 until 2022. In January 2024, he announced his departure from politics to pursue opportunities in the global corporate sector and devote more time to his family. He currently holds a position as a non-executive vice chairman at the consulting firm American Global Strategies.
