A tragic incident in Perth has resulted in the death of a pedestrian who was struck by a bus. Authorities are currently seeking dashcam footage to help clarify the details surrounding the accident.
The collision occurred around 6:15 PM yesterday when a Perth Transit Authority bus made a right turn onto Wellington Street in the CBD. The victim, a 45-year-old man, sustained critical injuries and unfortunately succumbed at the scene.
The bus driver, aged 37, was unharmed in the accident and is cooperating with the ongoing police investigation. Major crash investigators are appealing to the public for any relevant information, urging anyone who may have witnessed the event or has information to contact Crime Stoppers.
