Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reaffirmed Israel’s commitment to combating Iran, despite ongoing peace negotiations involving the United States. In a recent televised address, Netanyahu defended his government’s military efforts, asserting that the campaign against Iran is far from concluded. He highlighted recent successes, including significant blows to Iran’s nuclear and missile capabilities, proclaiming that Israel has effectively diminished the power of the Iranian regime.
Netanyahu went on to declare that Iran is currently seeking a ceasefire, suggesting a position of weakness. He emphasised Israel’s determination to persist in its struggle against what he termed “Iran’s terror regime” and its affiliated groups. In a contrasting remark, he critiqued Turkish President Erdogan, accusing him of supporting Iranian interests while failing to protect his own Kurdish citizens.
Through his statements, Netanyahu reinforced Israel’s stance on the Iranian threat and positioned his leadership as resolute against regional adversaries, portraying an image of strength while influencing public perception during a critical time.
