A construction site tragedy unfolded this morning in Carlingford, Sydney, where one man has died and another is critically injured following an accident involving a concrete pump. Emergency services responded to a call at a Meriton construction site on Pennant Hills Road, discovering two men in serious distress; one in his 30s and the other in his 40s.
Both individuals were struck by the falling equipment, prompting immediate medical attention. The younger man was rushed to Royal North Shore Hospital, while the older man was taken to Westmead Hospital, with both in critical condition.
