Clarke Homes, a home-building firm located in Gorokan on the NSW Central Coast, has entered administration, leaving many prospective homeowners in uncertainty. On January 24, Jason Porter and Joshua Robb from SV Partners were appointed as the administrators of the company. The inability to complete fixed-price contracts was attributed to escalating costs for materials and labour, which ultimately led to financial distress for Clarke Homes.

Currently, several building projects remain unfinished, and affected homeowners have begun receiving communication regarding the next steps. Those with existing homes may need to engage other builders for defect repairs and can submit claims as unsecured creditors once this work is done.

SV Partners has expressed commitment to assisting the local community and impacted homeowners during this challenging period. Further details about the company’s financial situation are expected in an upcoming creditors report. Notably, Clarke Homes ceased all trading activities prior to the appointment of the administrators, highlighting the urgency of the circumstances surrounding its collapse.
