A 19-year-old man from Swan View has been charged with the murder of an 18-year-old whose body was discovered with stab wounds in a Perth residence. The incident occurred on Saturday at around 5:10 PM, when emergency services were dispatched to a house on Gladstone Road in Rivervale. Upon arrival, they found the young man injured and in need of urgent medical assistance.
He was promptly transported to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries shortly after. Following the incident, detectives from the Homicide Squad launched an investigation and began engaging with the suspect, who was known to the victim.
The accused is set to appear in Perth Magistrates Court today, facing serious charges as the investigation continues.
