Sources indicate that Port Adelaide’s financial offer may surpass that of Adelaide, potentially giving them an edge in the bidding war. Wanganeen-Milera has the flexibility to choose between signing a short-term contract initially, with the possibility of extending later, or committing to a longer-term deal right away.
St Kilda is also exploring ways to retain Wanganeen-Milera and may provide similar contract options. However, if he decides to stay, the expectation is that it would only be for two years, as the club needs to manage its budget to pursue targets like Carlton’s Tom De Koning and GWS defender Leek Aleer.
