In April, police discovered 53-year-old Elmars Kalejs lying next to his vehicle, suffering from severe head injuries. He was quickly transported to Royal Perth Hospital, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries in late June. Following his passing, Kalejs’ daughter made a heartfelt appeal for information to help the family find closure regarding her father’s tragic death. The Homicide Squad has since arrested a 48-year-old man from Cloverdale in connection with the case. He is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.
