A man has faced drug charges following a police investigation that revealed several cannabis farms in western Adelaide. On May 27 and 28, South Australian detectives conducted searches at six locations, including Woodville South, Seaton, Flinders Park, West Croydon, and Ridleyton.
During these searches, authorities discovered an extensive haul comprising 304 cannabis plants, 30 kilograms of dried cannabis, and a significant quantity of cocaine classified as “traffickable.” In addition, large amounts of equipment associated with drug production were seized, alongside electrical diversions at five of the six properties involved.
A 25-year-old man was arrested during the operation and is charged with multiple offences, including six counts of cultivating cannabis, drug trafficking, and five counts of electricity diversion. He has been granted bail and is scheduled to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 10 September.
