Three men have been charged with kidnapping offences after police discovered a machete, cable ties, duct tape, and an electronic stun device during a traffic stop in Sydney. The incident unfolded around 1:15 PM yesterday when police received reports expressing concerns about the behaviour of the three individuals in the Inner West region.
Officers identified and pulled over a vehicle on Campbell Street in St Peters, where the suspicious items were located. The arrested men, aged 23, 43, and 44, were transported to Newtown Police Station for processing. They are each facing charges of conspiring to take or detain a person unlawfully, with the intention of gaining an advantage.
