A Year 12 student from a private school in Melbourne has tragically passed away following a collapse during rowing practice. Ed Millear, a student at Melbourne Grammar, fell ill at a boat shed located near the Yarra River in the city centre yesterday afternoon. Paramedics from Ambulance Victoria responded to the incident shortly after 4:40 PM. The school has been approached for a statement regarding this unfortunate event.
