Ferguson further highlighted that while the hit was substantial, it wasn’t late or illegal, praising it as a well-timed tackle. The second half saw a dominant performance from Newcastle, who added 20 points to their tally with tries from Sienna Yeo, Tess Staines, and Evah McEwen, the latter scoring twice late in the match.
