Man Walks Up to Police With Gunshot Wound to Leg in Woodridge

Officers on patrol on North Street were approached by a man reporting that he had been shot. They promptly administered first aid, and the individual was subsequently transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he is currently in a serious but stable condition.

In the wake of the incident, police have established a crime scene at a residence on North Street. Authorities believe the 30-year-old man from Browns Plains was involved in a confrontation just before 8pm, which led to the shooting.

Investigations suggest that all parties involved were acquainted with one another, and authorities have assured the public that there is no ongoing threat. Police are appealing to anyone who may have information, as well as those possessing CCTV or dashcam footage from the area, to come forward to assist with the inquiry.
