A tragic incident at Milan Bergamo Airport has resulted in the death of a man who was drawn into the engine of a plane shortly after it began its departure to Asturias, Spain, on Tuesday morning local time, as reported by Sky TG24, a CNN affiliate.
According to the Corriere della Sera, unnamed airport officials indicated that the unfortunate individual accessed the tarmac just as the aircraft was preparing for take-off and was subsequently sucked into one of the engines.
