A man has been arrested in connection with the deaths of two individuals found in a residence located in Mount Waverley, south-east of Melbourne. The police made this grim discovery shortly after receiving a call regarding the situation at around 10 pm last night. As of now, the deceased, a man and a woman, have not been identified.
In the wake of the reports, authorities, including a canine unit, initiated an extensive search of the nearby areas. Early this morning, around 1.40 am, a 34-year-old man was taken into custody at Westall train station. He is expected to be interviewed by detectives regarding the circumstances surrounding the fatalities.
Currently, investigators have stated that they are not pursuing any additional suspects in relation to the case.
