Emergency services responded to a call around 10.30pm regarding an incident at a residence on Dalton Street in Condell Park. Upon arrival, police discovered a man in his twenties who had sustained a gunshot wound. Tragically, he could not be resuscitated and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shortly after this discovery, a vehicle was located ablaze in Fairfield East. The fire is currently being investigated as suspicious. Authorities are appealing for anyone with information, including dashcam footage or CCTV recordings from the area, to reach out to Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000.
