Fire Captain Adam VanGerpen reported that 23 individuals were transported to local hospitals, with at least three suffering critical injuries. The vehicle, a Nissan Versa, struck a taco truck and valet stand in addition to the pedestrians.
VanGerpen noted that patrons inside the club rushed outside to assist those injured before emergency crews arrived. The driver of the vehicle was transported to the hospital, while police have not released his identity or current condition. Witness Maria Medrano, who was serving food from a nearby cart, described narrowly escaping injury when the vehicle hit their stand, recounting that she heard gunshots immediately after the incident.
