Authorities responded to an incident at Creekside Esplanade in Cooloola Cove around 7:15 PM, where they discovered a woman in her fifties suffering from a stab wound. Despite emergency treatment at the location, she succumbed to her injuries.
A man, also in his fifties, is cooperating with the investigation, and a crime scene has been established at the residence involved. Police are appealing to the public for any information that may assist in their inquiries.
