Man in critical condition following shark attack at beach in South Australia

Emergency services were dispatched to Port Noarlunga Jetty, situated south of Adelaide, around 9:45 am local time following notifications of a swimmer being bitten. According to ambulance services, the victim, a man in his 40s, sustained a thigh injury. He was subsequently transported to Flinders Medical Centre where his condition was reported as serious. In light of the incident, swimmers were cleared from the water, and police have advised the public to steer clear of the area.
