Man Hospitalised with Neck Injury Following Stabbing Incident at Sydney Shopping Centre

Emergency services were dispatched to Pacific Square on Anzac Parade in Maroubra at approximately 11:30 am today, where they discovered a young man suffering from a wound on the back of his neck. Paramedics quickly attended to his injuries before transporting him to St Vincent’s Hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition.

In response to the incident, the police have established a crime scene in the vicinity. New South Wales Police are actively searching for a suspect described as around 180 cm tall, with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander features. Witnesses noted that he was dressed in a black hoodie emblazoned with the phrase ‘GEED UP’ in light blue, paired with light-coloured trousers, a black cap, and a blue surgical mask.
