Emergency services responded to a call around 5.40am regarding an incident on Powdrill Road in Prestons. Upon arrival, police discovered a young man trapped beneath a forklift. Despite prompt medical attention from paramedics, he sadly succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Although he has not yet been officially identified, he is believed to be in his twenties. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident, and a report is set to be submitted to the coroner. Furthermore, the case has been handed over to SafeWork NSW for further scrutiny.
