A man has been taken into custody after he drove a vehicle through the gate of a residence linked to actress Jennifer Aniston. The incident occurred on Monday around 12:20 PM local time on Airole Way in Bel Air, an affluent area of Los Angeles.
Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson Officer Jeff Lee reported that they received a call regarding a “burglary suspect” who had forced his way into the property by running his car through the entrance gate. Fortunately, a security guard was present at the scene and managed to detain the suspect—a white male in his 70s—until officers arrived. The man was arrested without any further complications.
Authorities have yet to ascertain whether his actions were intentional or a mistake. Aniston, known for her iconic role in the television series “Friends,” was reportedly home at the time of the incident. CNN has reached out to her representative for further details.
In a previous interview with Architectural Digest, Aniston shared her love for architecture and design, expressing that if she were not an actress, she would pursue a career as a designer. She described the creative process of selecting fabrics and finishes as something that “feeds [her] soul.”
