Authorities are conducting an investigation into the death of a man discovered beside his vehicle on Talegalla Drive in Talegalla Weir on Queensland’s Fraser Coast yesterday morning.
The grim discovery was made by a passer-by at approximately 7:35 am, who promptly notified the police. Upon their arrival, officers found the man suffering from severe injuries to his lower body, lying next to a gold Nissan Patrol.
During their examination of the area, police located a firearm nearby, which is now a focal point of the investigation. They are appealing for assistance from the public and encouraging anyone who may possess information or dashcam footage related to the incident to come forward and contact law enforcement.
