A man has been arrested in connection with a series of antisemitic graffiti incidents that occurred in Sydney’s eastern and southern suburbs. Following reports of vandalism on January 30, police responded to various locations and discovered antisemitic markings. One specific incident was reported at a residence on Spars Street, Eastlakes, on the same day.

Authorities believe that the incidents are interconnected. Around 8 am the day after the graffiti was reported, police apprehended a 41-year-old man on Maloney Street, Eastlakes. During the arrest, officers allegedly found several illegal substances in his possession.

The man faces charges including vandalism, drug-related offences, and driving violations. He has been denied bail and is scheduled to appear in court today.
