Marvin Oraiha, aged 24, was discovered deceased on the driveway of his home in Elizabeth Hills on May 22, 2023. Following this incident, two vehicles associated with the alleged crime were located in a burnt state in the nearby suburbs of Green Valley and Bonnyrigg Heights. Oraiha was reportedly connected to the Comancheros bikie gang.
Investigation efforts by strike force detectives have led to the charging of nine individuals, who are currently awaiting trial, as the enquiry into Oraiha’s fatal shooting continues. Recently, detectives apprehended a 26-year-old man at Silverwater correctional centre, where he has been charged with murder and involvement in a criminal group engaged in unlawful activities. He appeared in Burwood Local Court later that day, where allegations arose that he had supplied the firearms used in the shooting. Furthermore, he is accused of providing instructions to the gunmen on the usage and maintenance of the weapons, as well as retrieving the firearms post-incident.
The investigation remains active as authorities continue to pursue leads related to this high-profile case.
