A homicide investigation has commenced in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne following the discovery of a man with what are presumed to be stab injuries. Emergency services responded to a call at a residence on Winton Street in Burwood around 11pm last night, where they found the victim suffering from injuries consistent with stab wounds. Sadly, the unidentified man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
In connection with the incident, a second man has been arrested at the property and is currently being interrogated by police. Investigators believe that those involved were acquainted with one another. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to establish the details surrounding this tragic event.
