A man is set to appear in court following allegations of an attempted murder during a shooting incident in Logan, Queensland, last night. According to police reports, an argument erupted between two men on Clarendon Avenue, Bethania, around 5:55 pm. The individuals involved are believed to be acquainted.
The accused, a 62-year-old man, is alleged to have shot a 35-year-old man twice, striking him in the shoulder and the chest. The victim was promptly transported to a hospital and is currently in stable condition.
As a result of the incident, the older man has been charged with attempted murder, along with charges of intending to inflict grievous bodily harm and failing to securely store a firearm. He is scheduled to face the court on Monday.
