Strike force detectives executed a search warrant at a Bexley unit around 5.30pm on Wednesday. During the operation, police uncovered an active clandestine drug laboratory, prompting the involvement of specialist officers, forensic teams, and firefighters to dismantle the setup. Additionally, authorities seized a loaded firearm for investigation.
A 30-year-old man was arrested at the location and faces 20 charges related to the commercial supply of drugs, linked to incidents occurring over 18 separate occasions from December 22 to December 27, 2024. Following his arrest, he was denied bail and appeared in court yesterday. The probe into the matter is ongoing.
