Residents and tourists are invited to take part in the ‘Sky Ribbon’ artwork by signing ribbons that express their affection for the Gold Coast. The project aims to collect 10,000 ribbons, which will be incorporated into an artistic installation extending from the outdoor stage at HOTA. Ribbons can be found at various locations across the coast, including community hubs, schools, libraries, and pop-up centres. Yarmilla Alfonzetti from Experience Gold Coast encourages everyone—regardless of age or how long they’ve lived here—to contribute their thoughts and feelings to this piece of art. However, time is of the essence, as there are only two weeks left for the community to share their “love letters” to the Gold Coast.
