Lady Gaga is set to make her long-awaited return to Australia this December, marking her first tour down under in 11 years with the highly anticipated Mayhem Ball. The superstar will perform at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on December 5 and 6, followed by concerts at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on December 9, and Accor Stadium in Sydney on December 12.
The Australian leg of her tour follows performances in Mexico City and cities across Singapore, North America, the UK, and Europe. Given the overwhelming response during the pre-sale, which saw tens of thousands of fans securing tickets, high demand is expected when general sales commence on April 17.
This will be Lady Gaga’s first visit since her last Australian tour in 2014, which featured the ArtRave: The Artpop Ball tour where she performed across six shows in four cities, including Perth and Brisbane.
Tickets will go on sale starting at 12pm AEST for Melbourne, followed by Sydney at 1pm and Brisbane at 2pm. Fans are advised to arrive early, as a queue system will be in place and ticket links will open 30 minutes prior to the sale start time.
Pricing for the eagerly awaited tickets varies depending on the location and seating, with reports stating a range from approximately $118.68 to $1586.76 for the Brisbane and Sydney concerts, and between $113.06 and $1581.12 for Melbourne shows. A handling fee of $7.95 applies per order for Brisbane and Sydney, while Melbourne incurs a fee of $9.90.
Despite speculations surrounding the use of dynamic pricing based on demand, Ticketmaster representatives clarified that there is no surge pricing system in effect, assuring fans that ticket prices were predetermined prior to the sale.
