Kyle Sandilands disclosed on the Kyle and Jackie O show that he is facing serious health challenges, including a second aneurysm in his brain. During the broadcast, he revealed that he would require surgery where a hole will be drilled in his skull, approximately the size of a drinking glass, resulting in noticeable scarring. Sandilands joked about the possibility of being “Franken-Kyle” due to the procedure.
Despite the severity of his condition, he noted that his doctor advised against immediate surgery, warning that the risks of significant brain damage or death are considerable. Instead, the recommendation is to monitor the aneurysm for growth. He expressed a sense of acceptance about his situation, saying he is fine and grateful to have clarity on his health.
In addition, it was revealed that Sandilands has an aneurysm in his aorta and a significant calcium build-up in his chest, raising concerns of a potential heart attack. As part of his medical advice, he has been instructed to limit his coffee intake dramatically, from 15 large lattes to just one or two daily. Despite these revelations, Sandilands maintained a calm disposition, reflecting, “at least we know now.”
