A highly anticipated meeting involving US Attorney-General Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel, Vice President JD Vance, among others, was relocated from Vance’s home to the White House due to significant media attention, according to sources cited by CNN. The agenda included discussions on the Jeffrey Epstein case and potential next steps. Initially, the gathering was expected to feature White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche.
Main topics were centred on the administration’s approach regarding the Epstein case and the necessity for a cohesive strategy. Additionally, Trump administration officials are contemplating the release of an audio recording and transcript from a recent dialogue involving Blanche and Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell.
The meeting also presented an opportunity for Bondi and Patel, who have previously disagreed on strategies regarding the Epstein case, to potentially resolve their differences. Vance had previously attempted to mediate discussions among Bondi, Patel, and Dan Bongino, the deputy FBI director. Despite the focus on the Epstein meeting, Vance and his office have denied that any discussions regarding Epstein were taking place.
