He acknowledged feeling like a victim to some extent but clarified he did not endure the same level of trauma as others have faced from sexual predators.
Spacey responded by recalling a visit from Pearce the year after filming ended, questioning why Pearce didn’t communicate his discomfort back then. Ultimately, Spacey urged Pearce to mature, asserting he is not a victim. This exchange comes amidst Spacey’s ongoing denial of various sexual misconduct allegations, of which Pearce’s comments have reignited discussions. Spacey was recently cleared of all charges related to sexual assault in 2023 after a trial in London.
